After watching my father undergo quadruple bypass surgery and seeing my own cholesterol, LDL, and glucose levels climb to 237, 153, and 102 respectively - despite a seemingly healthy diet and being extremely active as a runner, hiker, weight trainer, and dog walker - I began transitioning to whole food plant-based eating.

This transition has been life-changing: my cholesterol dropped to 167, LDL to 89, and glucose to 91, my energy levels soared, and I'm now living a life more aligned with my values. Now, in my fifties, I'm the fittest I've ever been.

To help others, I became a Certified Plant-Based Nutrition Specialist through AFPA and offer insights, tips, recipes, and one on one coaching to promote healthier living to my clients.
